Professional Experience
Catarina has worked for the firm since November 2018, being a member of the Litigation department and supporting the credit recovery area.
She has a vast career in advocacy, having been linked in recent years more to civil and commercial litigation, acting as sole practitioner before joining MG Advogados.
In 2016 Catarina was a consultant with Abreu Advogados, being involved in representing clients in civil and commercial litigation cases, as well as providing legal advice in civil, corporate and banking matters.
Previously Catarina was a Partner in the law firm Alves Mendes, Jardim Gonçalves & Associados (2003 – 2015), the law firm where she began her career as a Trainee Lawyer and then worked as an Associate. She represented clients in civil and commercial litigation and provided legal advice in civil, commercial, banking, real estate and notarial matters.
